Open Call for Mentors: Support the Next Generation of Leaders

News

At Macedonia2025, we believe that talent grows fastest when knowledge, experience, and generosity meet.

We are pleased to invite experienced professionals, leaders, and entrepreneurs to join our Macedonia2025 Mentorship Program, supporting students from our flagship initiatives:

  • “Atanas Bliznakoff” (ABF) – scholarship program for university students;
  • “Talents Today – Leaders Tomorrow” – scholarship program for talented high school students.

Through mentorship, you can play a direct role in shaping the academic, professional, and personal development of some of the most promising young people in the country.

Why Become a Mentor?

By dedicating a minimum of 5 hours per academic year (typically runs from January to June) you can:

  • guide and inspire talented students as they navigate education and early career decisions;
  • share real-world experience, insights, and encouragement;
  • help students build confidence, skills, and a clearer vision for their future.

Mentorship can take place online, by phone, or in person, depending on your availability and preferences.

How the Mentorship Works

Macedonia2025 has launched a new Mentorship & Internship Platform, designed to make the mentoring experience simple, flexible, and meaningful.

Through the platform, mentors can:

  • create and update a personal mentor profile;
  • receive mentorship requests from ABF scholars and other Macedonia2025 students;
  • choose which mentorship invitations to accept, based on interests and availability;
  • (optionally) publish internship or practical training opportunities if their company offers them;
  • It typically runs from January to June for the current academic year (2025-2026).

The platform is currently in a development phase. We appreciate your patience and feedback as we continue improving it.
