Nina Angelovska, PhD is an entrepreneur, President of the Macedonian E-commerce Association, Asst. Prof. at the University of Tourism and Management, Skopje, and the former Minister of Finance of the Republic of North Macedonia.

She co-founded and was heading the first deal platform and leading e-commerce company in Macedonia, Grouper.mk, launched in 2011 that transformed the e-commerce market.

Angelovska’s passion for e-commerce, digital transformation and drive for change led her to establish the first Macedonian E-commerce Association in 2017. She was a member of several Boards including the Macedonian Economic Chamber and the European Ecommerce and Omnichannel Trade Association (EMOTA). Currently, she is a member of the Board of Directors at Makedonski Telekom.

Angelovska works as an independent consultant in business development, marketing, digital economy and e-commerce, and is a frequent speaker at conferences and events striving to infuse passion and awake the potential of many young people.

Her hard work and impact have been widely recognized. In 2018 she was named Forbes 30 Under 30 and in 2019 she was named one of the seven global UNCTAD eTrade for Women Advocates. Recently she made a successful exit when the Polish Group Asseco SEE acquired her company, Grouper.mk.

Mr. Giles Norman (BA Hons, Lancaster University, 1990; LLB, Queen’s University, 1996) joined the Department of Foreign Affairs and International Trade in 1999 after being called to the Bar of the Law Society of Ontario in 1998.
His overseas assignments include political officer in Ankara (2001 to 2004), political and trade counsellor in Colombo (2007 to 2009) and first-ever director of the Canadian International Centre for the Arctic Region in Oslo (2009 to 2012), where he also served as chargé d’affaires for 9 months. After Oslo, he was posted to New York City until 2016 as the counsellor (legal, human rights, humanitarian) and legal counsel at the Permanent Mission to the United Nations.
At Headquarters, he has held a series of posts in the Legal Bureau and was deputy director of the Maghreb and Persian Gulf Division (2004 to 2007). Most recently, he was executive director of the Defence and Security Relations Division.
Mr. Norman is married and has two children

Filomena Pljakovska-Asprovska, Chief Executive Director and President Management Board of CaSys AD, the only processor in the field of card operations, electronic commerce and certified card personalization bureau in the Republic of North Macedonia.
By vocation – BSc in Electrical Engineering, Department of Electronics and Telecommunications, Master’s degree at the Faculty of Economics at UKIM, alumni of the Schulich School of Business, York University Toronto CA and Kellog School of Management USA. She is an advocate and motivator of the motto that learning is a process that does not end, and every investment in itself is a value for the company, the environment and the society in which we live.
She started her working career as a System Administrator in the company, then as a Sector Director and for two terms a member of the Management Board.
During her 20 years of work experience as an expert, she has the opportunity to participate in many important projects for the implementation of innovations and new products in the field of the card industry. Proud of her team from the company for the first successful personalized chip cards in the country, the implementation of the highest security standards for data security PCI DSS and ISO, the introduction of secure e-commerce with 3D model and many other projects.
At the same time, she is a member of the National Council for Payment Systems at the NBRNM and the committee for encouraging non-cash payments with active participation and maximum support in the initiatives for encouraging and improving the use of electronic payment channels.
During her career, she has been engaged as a speaker and panellist at domestic conferences in the field of payment systems, security of card payments and topics in the field of electronic commerce.
The mission and goals continue to be achieved through continuous professional cooperation with banks and the entire ecosystem in which the company operates for equal participation in the modern global digital economies.

As NCR Corporation’s Government Relations Manager EMEA, Nina is responsible for managing policy and advocacy initiatives in Europe, Middle East and Africa.

She also manages NCR’s external representation in Serbia, one of the company’s biggest and strategic locations. In that capacity, Nina is responsible for planning, executing and monitoring NCR Serbia’s external engagements and relationships with key stakeholders including government officials, business representatives, academia community and NCR Foundation’s non-profit partners.

Nina is also a member of NCR Serbia’s Leadership Council and has been serving at Women in NCR (WIN) Serbia’s Board since August 2021.

Prior to joining NCR in 2019, Nina was one of the coordinators of Clemson University’s (South Carolina, USA) study abroad programs in the Balkans and spent four years with the U.S. Embassy Belgrade’s commercial section.

She holds bachelor and master’s degrees in International Affairs from the Faculty of Political Science, University of Belgrade.

Nina lives in Belgrade and is passionate about U.S. politics and women’s rights.

Kati Iceva is computer science engineer and leader with over 18 years of experience building and shipping Microsoft products. As Group Engineering Manager, she currently leads the engineering team of Azure Stream Analytics, Microsoft’s real-time analytics service that is designed for mission-critical workloads and was named streaming analytics market leader by Forrester.  She is responsible for product strategy, technical vision, architecture, development and operations of the product. Her previous contributions span data technologies including multiple versions of the .NET Entity Framework and Power Query.  With her work, she hopes to contribute to advancing the quality of human lives and health.

Seeded in her experience of working on three continents, Kati has a strong passion for enabling and supporting diverse and inclusive teams and working environments. Hoping to see more women thrive in technology industries, she takes advantage of every opportunity to encourage girls to explore computer science.

Kati holds a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at Ss. Cyril and Methodius University of Skopje and Master of Science degree in Computer Science from Worcester Polytechnic Institute.

She resides in Seattle, Washington with her husband Alek and their two children. Outside of work, you can find her skiing, running, hiking or practicing yoga.

Born in Zagreb in 1980. After finishing Psychology at FFZG he went on Executive MBA at Cotrugli Business School. Further education is NLP Leadership Academy, and EU Funds Project Manager, and Integral School of Organizational Development. He is a Ph.D. Researcher on the University of
Dubrovnik – Digital Economy.
The first position in Human Resources was in Ledo and after that, he spent 4 years working in L’Oreal Adria. Next two years he was HR Manager in Billa (part of REWE Group) and after that position, he worked as an HR consultant on different projects (from headhunting to rightsizing and organizational change) in different industries. For 3 years he was in the position of CHRO in Rimac Automobili.
Additionally, he is lecturing in different business schools on different HR topics, Corporate Culture and, other business subjects. Currently, he is Visiting Professor at the Swiss School of Business and Management- Human Resources Management.
From the beginning of 2018, he is the owner of the FutureHR company, working as an HR and Business Expert/ Consultant for different clients. Covering projects of Company Mission and Vision, Company Branding, Organizational Design, Recruitment, Educations, Compensation and Benefits,
Business Counseling and Mentoring, Management Development.
In his free time, he is Chairman of the Supervisory Board of MBA Croatia, an association that is gathering all MBA alumni in Croatia, and founder and former president of business-humanitarian organization POZA. He is also part of the Meeting G2 project – which is connecting businesspeoplefrom the Croatian diaspora.

He is one of the founders of the Voice of Entrepreneurs association - the biggest association of SMEs in Croatia and a member of their Supervisory Board.
He is the creator and researcher of the National AI Capital concept, and Co-Founder and Co-Director of Global AI Ethics Institute, founded in Paris in 2021

Viktor Mizo is the Managing Director of Kostal Macedonia, part of the German family owned Kostal Group – global leader in design and manufacturing of advanced electronics and mechatronics products for the automotive industry. He is also President of the Association of foreign companies with technologically advanced manufacturing within the auspices of the Economic Chamber of Macedonia and an outside expert for McKinsey on various economic development, FDI and free zones projects around the World.

Mr. Mizo brings to Kostal a record of exceptional leadership and strategic vision, responsible for numerous greenfield investment projects by multinational companies that have located their production or service operations in Macedonia as a CEO of the Macedonia Free Zone Authority over a period of six year. Prior to that, he spent four years as CEO of Invest Macedonia, where he played a critical role in putting Macedonia on the radar of potential investors looking to expand in Europe and was a key member of the Government’s economic team.

He co-founded and managed a technology company specialized in digital file distribution for mobile phones in Japan, as well as an internet start-up in the media and entertainment space in London and New York. Preceding this, Mr. Mizo was a technology and financial services consultant at McKinsey’s New York office. He began his career as a design engineer at Magna International and a member of the esteemed Technical Leadership Program at General Electric where he worked on locomotive design that culminated in a Black Belt position in the Six Sigma quality initiative.

Mr. Mizo received his B.S. and M.S. in Mechanical Engineering at the Rochester Institute of Technology, graduating summa cum laude. An alumnus of Harvard University, he holds an MBA from the Harvard Business School.

Petar Kajevski is a management and IT consultant based in Vienna, Austria. He has worked in variety of functions spanning the two fields, particularly in the area of business value – helping companies understand the business impact of various IT solutions.

As an employee or a consultant, he has worked for companies such as Roland Berger, Arthur D. Little, Microsoft, Oracle, IBM and Finastra. Mr. Kajevski holds an MBA from the University of St. Gallen, an MSc in Information Systems from the London School of Economics and an electric engineering degree from the Ss. Cyril and Methodius University in Skopje.

Mladen Milankovic has more than 15 years of hands-on experience in software development. His insatiable curiosity about new challenges has led him to explore various fields and technologies, and blockchain is one of them, the latest one. As a crypto enthusiast, he’s currently leading HTEC group in this exciting new world to explore its possibilities and help their clients leverage this new paradigm to drive business value.

Mladen graduates from Subotica Tech – College of Applied Sciences, and he holds a BsCA degree in Informatics, course Internet and E-commerce.

Mladen lives in Subotica with his wonderful wife and two sons and works from the Subotica HTEC office. Besides dabbling in the crypto world, Mladen also enjoys gravel/MTB biking, running, and playing board games.

Laura K. Inamedinova is the CEO of London based Blockchain focused 7-digits valued Marketing agency “LKI Consulting”.
Laura bought her first Bitcoin in 2016 when she got her first Client. With a STEM background, cybersecurity knowledge and a Bachelor of Physics, she joined the blockchain industry with a philosophy of making our financial world a more private, transparent space for all parties. She grew her agency x5 in the times of pandemic with a goal of empowering beginner crypto projects struggling to break through heavy regulations.

Anastasia Ksenofontova is an independent management consulting partner. She helps companies worldwide exceed the market through client-centered strategies and digital transformation. She has experience in designing and piloting blockchain solutions for settlement and reconciliation in the energy industry.

Previously she served clients as a New York based Partner at the Boston Consulting Group, and earlier at Bain & Co and Roland Berger in Europe. Emil is the founder and CEO of domaselo, an online marketplace for artisanal food and a place for food typically found at a “home in a village” (authentic recipes, local ingredients, and small batch).

Emil is also an active investor and manager of residential real estate purpose built for short-term renting. He previously owned and operated construction and solar companies in the US with focus on publicly funded projects.

Alessandra is a Senior Specialist for Skills Development at the sub-regional office for Central and Eastern Europe (Budapest, Hungary) of the International Labour Organisation (ILO). She focuses on the Western Balkans, Ukraine and Moldova. Her specialisations include innovative learning technologies, sector-based skills anticipation, lifelong learning and workplace learning. Previously, Alessandra worked for the ILO office for the Andean Countries (Lima, Peru; 1998-2002), the International Training Centre of the ILO (Turin, Italy 2005-2018) and was a seconded expert with CEDEFOP (Thessaloniki, Greece; 2009 – 2010). Alessandra holds Master’s Degrees in, Educational Science, Political Science and a Postgraduate Degree in Development Politics.

Bojana is also passionate about learning. She thinks that learning is a gift that continuously gives to the person who is nurturing and growing their knowledge.

Throughout her career she purposefully exposes herself to different roles and projects both in Macedonia and in international environments and thinks that is one of her great strengths. She spend the last four years working in Kuwait for the United States Government (USG), and has also experience in sales and telecommunications.

Bojana holds Bachelor degree in business administration from Euro College Kumanovo (official partner of American Heritage University of Southern California) and an International MBA degree from Cotrugli Business School. She attended various online programs from Harvard Business School on topics such as business analytics, finance, negotiations and data and is a certified Project Management Professional from the Project Management Institute.

Ilir Sela (eh-leer sell-uh) is the Founder and CEO of Slice, the all-in-one ordering and marketing tech platform for local pizzerias. Ilir is “third generation pizza.” Born to an Albanian family in Macedonia and raised in Staten Island, he grew up helping his family run their New York City pizzerias.

After getting a degree in Computer Science, Ilir started his first company, Nerd Force, in 2003 and sold it in 2008. He then combined his passion for technology with his deep experience in the pizza industry to build Slice — a company that empowers local pizzerias with the tech, data, and marketing to compete with the big chains.

Through its partnerships, Slice has driven over $1B in earnings for over 17,000 independent pizzerias nationwide.

Borko Handjiski is Associate Partner with McKinsey & Company. He joined McKinsey’s Middle East office in June 2015 and has been primarily serving public sector clients in the Gulf region. Before joining McKinsey, Borko Handjiski worked for the World Bank in Washington DC as Senior Economist. Borko began his career at the Macedonian central bank and worked for the European Commission in Macedonia where he advised the government on economic policies related to EU accession.

Throughout his 14-year career, Borko has worked with governments in Europe, Central Asia, Africa, and the Middle East in the areas of economic development, public finances, investment, trade, and labor markets.

Borko holds an MBA degree in finance from Purdue University and a BA in Economics from the University of Skopje. He resides with his family in Dubai.

Dushko Chifliganec is young, motivated and energized businessman who spent mostly of his adolescence in the Middle East, obtaining BA in Economics and Business at the prestigious American University in Dubai.

Dushko believes that Dubai besides enabling him to acquire exceptional academic education, its fast and ever growing environment imposed positive pressure on himself to develop sharp and entrepreneurial mindset, which he sees as his most valuable asset.

Relja Marković is an engineering and product leader with a track record of bringing new technologies to market. He is the CTO of MLCommons, a machine learning non-profit backed by the tech industry to standardize solutions to industry wide ML problems. He has extensive experience in the immersive AR/VR space, having served as Director of Engineering on Google Daydream, CTO on Microsoft HoloLens experiences, and Engineering Manager on Microsoft Kinect. He also led engineering for the Facebook Android app, and was a key contributor and graphics lead on a number of Xbox projects.

Stevo Pendarovski is the President of the Republic of North Macedonia. He graduated in 1987 at the Faculty of Law “Iustinianus Primus”, University “Ss. Cyril and Methodius”, Skopje and obtained M.A. and Ph.D. from the Institute for Political, Legal and Sociological Research, University “Ss. Cyril and Methodius”.

For the past 11 years, he was a Professor at the UACS School of Political Science, teaching International Security, International Relations, Introduction to Politics, Globalization, Geopolitics, US Foreign policy, EU Foreign and Security policy, and Small States in World Affairs.

In the period 1998 – 2001, he was Head of Analytical and Research Department in the Ministry of Interior and ministry’s spokesperson.

From 2001 to 2004, he was National Security Advisor of the President of the Republic of Macedonia. From 2004 to 2005, he was President of the State Election Commission. In the period 2005 to 2009, he had position Chief Foreign Policy Advisor to the President of the Republic of Macedonia. From 2016 to 2017, he was Member of Parliament. From December 2017 until May 2019, he was National Coordinator for preparation of the Republic of North Macedonia for NATO member
