The work of more than 60 NGOs, businesses and individuals from across Central and Eastern Europe “Grasping the chance to lead!” was recognized in Brussels on November 8 at the 2023 Future of Emerging Europe Summit and Awards, the sixth edition of a program that highlights best practice, innovation and courage across the region.
The winners, aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (People, Planet, Prosperity, Partnership, Peace), were selected through a global vote by the Emerging Europe community, with over 23,000 votes cast for nominees.
Emerging Europe awarded Macedonia2025 with a certificate of recognition for enhancing the coding and robotics skills of underprivileged Macedonian youth (Ohrid High Tech Excellence Camp), receiving third place in the PEOPLE-FIRST ECONOMY INITIATIVE category. This category was intended for organizations operating in emerging Europe that implemented successful projects and initiatives aiming at closing the urban-rural development and income divide, contributing to the future of the labor market; and building conscious capitalism.
Nena Manchev, representing Macedonia2025, received the award at the Summit & Award ceremony in Brussels, earning applause for the organization’s dedication.
Furthermore, our CEO Nikica Mojsoska Blazhevski was awarded a certificate of recognition for being an ARCHITECT OF TOMORROW NORTH MACEDONIA, among a group consisting of 28 exceptional individuals — one for each country of Emerging Europe and Central Asia. Прва во серијалот мотивациски успешни приказни е Јана Клопчевска, вонреден професор на Технолошко-металуршкиот факултет при Универзитетот “Св.Кирил и Методиј„ Скопје.
Таа во својата успешна животна приказна нагласува: “Да се биде жена научник не е лесно но е интересно особено ако се работи дизајнирање на храна или молекуларна гастрономија, максимално исполнува.
Мојата приказна се состои од прехранбен технолог до вонреден професор со работно искуство во Алкалоид АД и Агенција за Храна и ветеринарство, па се до Технолошко-Металуршкиот факултет. Интересен е развојот на мојата кариера и како постдокторант на Парацелзиумс Медицински Универзитет во Салзбург, односно тогаш сваќаш дека ништо не е спонтано, се е работа и само работа на себе.
Приватно мајка на 13 годишен Стефан, интересно дете кое се насочува кон спортот поради сите фамилијарни предиспозиции.
Многу енергија и посветување кон сите работни задачи и предизвици, а особено горда на тоа дека Скопје го претворивме во Биохак град, каде младите луѓе во Отворената Градска лабораторија ќе имаат можност да ги развиваат своите идеи.

Македонија2025 објавува единствена можност за обука на 20-25 наставници по природни науки во основните училишта во Македонија.
Обуките ќе се реализираат како дел од соработката на Македонија2025 со компанијата Џонсон Мети, во рамки на програмата за влијание на заедницата „Науката и јас“.
За проектот
Целта на проектот е да ги обучи наставниците по природни науки во руралните/урбаните основни училишта во Северна Македонија со вештини и техники за промовирање на интересот и амбицијата на учениците да ја сакаат науката и да ги изберат нивните идни кариери во науката. Во рамки на обуката, наставниците ќе добијат идеи и инструкции за тоа како да ја унапредат наставата со цел да го зголемат интересот и знаењето на младите во обалста на науката. Наставниците, заедно со своите ученици, ќе имаат и единствена можност да изработат и презентираат експерименти поврзани со науката на посебно организирани саеми за наука.
За обуката
Организираме дводневна работилница за обука на наставници дизајнирана да ги зајакне капацитетите и вештините на наставниците почетници кои реализираат настава по предметот Природни науки во 6. одделение. Оваа работилница ќе се фокусира на обучување со ефективни методи на настава по природни науки, вклучувајќи учење базирано на истражување, практични експерименти и учење базирано на проекти, сите усогласени со националните и меѓународните стандарди. Обуката ќе се реализира во соработка со Бирото за развој на образование.
Што може да очекувате
Информативни сесии спроведувани од страна на обучувачи од Бирото за развој на образованието и други образовни институции;
Практични стратегии и методи за унапредување на наставата по природни науки;
Сертификати за професионален развој за да се поттикне вашиот напредок во кариерата;
Обврска да се развијат и да се прикажат свои експерименти на регионални саеми спроведени со група ваши ученици;
Можност за посета на Џонсон Мети Скопје, водечка компанија во областа на одржлива посветеност на иновациите и технолошките откритија, со глобално влијание во области како што се транспортот со ниски емисии, енергијата, хемиската обработка и најефикасната употреба на природните ресурси на планетата;
Мерење на влијанието на обуката кон подобрената самодоверба и мотивација на наставниците ќе се врши преку истражување/анкета од мал обем засновано на прашалник за самоевалуација, споредувајќи ја прединтервенцијата (пред обуката) и постинтервенцијата (по обуката или програмата).
Општи услови за учесниците на обуката
Право да конкурираат:
Наставници почетници кои предаваат предмет Природни науки во 6. одделение со релевантно образование во областа (биологија, хемија, физика или георгафија);
Имаат работно искуство во настава не подолго од 5 години; и
Сте државјанин на Република Северна Македонија.
Како да аплицирате
За да Ве земеме предвид за оваа возбудлива можност, треба да:
Поднесете ваша биографија (CV) која го прикажува вашето образование, искуството во наставата и претходно посетените обуки и другите професионални активности;
Потврда од основното училиште дека во учебната 2023/24 година реализирате настава по Природни науки во 6. одделение и работен стаж;
Напишете кратко мотивационо писмо (максимум 1000 зборови) објаснувајќи зошто сте заинтересирани да учествувате на оваа работилница; и
Поднесувањето апликации со прикачени горенаведените барани документи може да го направите на следнава ФОРМА.
Апликациите се прифаќаат најдоцна до 1-ви ноември 2023 година (23:59).
Процесот на апликацирање и административна проверка е спроведуван од страна на Македонија2025.
По завршување на процесот на административна проверка, апликациите ги разгледува Комисија за избор на учесници составена од претставници на партнерските институции на Македонија2025 и Џонсон Мети.
Комисијата за избор на учесници го задржува правото да повика дел од кандидатите кои влегле во потесен круг на дополнително интервју пред да се донесе финалната одлука и избор.

for his outstanding contributions to the Macedonian community in the area of Humanitarian Work.
Stanley (Nace) Thomas has been awarded the Macedonia2025 Recognition for Diaspora Contribution in acknowledgment of his outstanding contributions to the advancement of Macedonia and its citizens. His unwavering commitment to humanitarian work, and strong dedicated humanitarian efforts, including disaster relief, refugee support, and social justice initiatives, has significantly impacted both the Republic of Macedonia and those in need.
Stanley Thomas, whose Macedonian roots were affected by historical events, became an influential figure. His father’s surname, Bozinov, became Bozinis when he immigrated to Canada in 1930 and then anglicized to Thomas. After a long separation due to Depression and World War II, Boris, Stan’s father, was finally reunited with his family in Windsor. Stan, a York University MBA graduate, didn’t forget his heritage. He led efforts to send $4 million worth of pharmaceutical supplies to Macedonia during the Kosovo crisis in 1999.
Stan has been involved with the Canadian Macedonian Senior Citizen’s Centre since 1978 and served as its president from 1990 to 1993. He transformed the Macedonian Open Golf Tournament into a fundraiser for Canadian Macedonian Place, raising over $1.2 million for charitable causes. The tournament continues as a 36-hole shotgun start event at Station Creek Golf Club. Mr. Thomas received the Recognition for Diaspora Contribution 2023 during the Macedonia2025 Fundraising Gala held in Chicago on September 23, 2023. Vlatko Andonovski has been awarded the Macedonia2025 Recognition for Diaspora Contribution in acknowledgment of his steadfast commitment in the domain of Leadership and Advocacy, where he is showcasing exceptional leadership skills or advocating for Macedonian interests. Moreover, through his professional success, he exerts a positive influence on the global promotion and affirmation of his homeland, contributing to increased awareness and understanding of Macedonia and its people on an international scale.
Vlatko Andonovski, originally from Skopje, became a U.S. citizen in 2015. He graduated from Park University in 2008 with a Bachelor’s degree in business administration/management and obtained a Master’s in Soccer Coaching Education from Ohio University in 2017. Residing in Kansas City, Missouri, he lives with his wife Biljana and their three children, Dragana, Luka, and Daria.
Andonovski played as a center-back in Europe with clubs like FK Rabotnički, Makedonija GP, and FK Vardar. He shifted to the U.S. for professional indoor soccer and played for various teams, earning accolades including Defender of the Year and being named MVP.
In his coaching journey, he led the professional indoor team Kansas City Comets to a MISL title in 2014-2015. He also served as an assistant coach for the Comets and eventually became the head coach of the U.S. Women’s National Team in 2019. Despite the challenges of the pandemic, he won his first 11 games as head coach, establishing a record for the best start in USWNT history. However, he stepped down from the head coach position of the U.S. Women’s National Team in 2023. The quality of the faculty, the depth of expertise, and the degree of involvement surpassed even my most optimistic projections. The program’s syllabus had been meticulously crafted, providing a perfect blend of cutting-edge theory and hands-on application. One of the most remarkable aspects of the program was the diversity of the cohort. Interacting with professionals from various industries and backgrounds provided a rich and dynamic learning environment. The collaborative spirit that permeated our group discussions and team projects was truly inspiring. The faculty at Kellogg are not only renowned experts in their fields but also exceptional educators. They fostered an environment where questions were encouraged, and dialogue was open and enlightening. The real-world insights and case studies they shared were invaluable, and I left each session with a deeper understanding of the subject matter. Beyond the classroom, the Kellogg Executive Education Program offers unparalleled networking opportunities. I had the privilege of connecting with accomplished individuals from around the world, building lasting relationships that I believe will continue to benefit me both personally and professionally. As I reflect on my time at Kellogg, I am filled with a sense of empowerment and renewed ambition. I had the incredible opportunity to attend the Executive Development Program at Kellogg School of Management through your generous scholarship. My participation took place in May and June 2023, and I wanted to share my thoughts on the program and its impact on my personal and professional journey.
Program Review The campus at Northwestern University was nothing short of remarkable—state-of-the-art facilities, meticulous attention to detail, and a warm, inviting atmosphere that fostered learning and camaraderie. The caliber of the teaching staff exceeded my expectations. Lectures that stood out included Sergio Rebelo’s ‘Mega Trends in International Economics, “Dan Kraemer’s ‘Design Your Next Disruptor Workshop”, and Loran Nordgren’s courses on “Leading and Managing Innovation” and “Influence Without Authority.” The learning approach was hands-on and facilitative, encouraging rich discussions among participants. That said, the group size was slightly smaller than expected, yet it contributed to a more intimate and engaging learning experience. The diversity and spirit of the group were absolutely amazing. I do believe the in-person lectures significantly surpassed online interactions in terms of engagement and depth.
Suggestions for Improvement Expectations and Participant Feedback: Given the program’s intensity, it might be beneficial to gauge the expectations and wishes of the participants. Fewer, more focused lectures could allow for deeper engagement.
Personal and Professional Impact This program has had a monumental impact on my personality and work habits. It has broadened my perspective, improved my leadership abilities, and equipped me with tools to navigate the complex business landscape.
Campus Experience The facilities and resources at Kellogg are world-class, and I found the environment to be intellectually invigorating. The friendships and networks one can build during this period can prove invaluable.
Final Thoughts I would like to extend my deepest gratitude to Macedonia2025 for this life-changing experience. The logistical and organizational aspects from both MK2025 and Kellogg were well-executed, ensuring a smooth experience throughout.
To those considering this training, the experience you will gain is unparalleled. You will not just be learning; you will be evolving, in an environment that encourages you to find out what it takes and learn to be the best version of yourself, not only in the professional aspects of life.

Гала вечерата во организација на Македонија 2025 имаше донаторски карактер, а беа собрани 1,3 милиони долари кои ќе се насочат во зајакнување и проширување на постојните програми на организацијата кои се наменети за зајакнување на капацитетите на бизнис-заедницата, развој на лидерството и образованието.
Пред многубројните гости и поддржувачи се обрати претседателот на Одборот на директори на Македонија 2025, Мајкл Чкламовски кој во својот поздравен говор се осврна на почетоците на организацијата и визијата и целите, поставени од идејниот основач Џон Битов сениор кој по покана на поранешниот претседател Борис Трајковски, обединил неколку лица од дијаспората за да го помогнат развојот на Македонија со своето знаење и контакти. Никица Мојсоска-Блажевски, извршен директор на Македонија 2025 меѓу другото се осврна и на досегашните реализирани активности и постигнатите резултати во областа на поддршка на развој на лидерство и на млади таленти и во програмите за помош и развој на македонските бизниси.
Во моментов, Македонија 2025 имплементира над 10 програми за поддршка на овие сектори, од кои за најголемата едукативна програма обезбедена преку фондацијата Атанас Близнакоф за студенти годишно се издвојуваат над 300 илјади САД долари.
Извршната директорка на Македонија2025, Никица Мојсоска-Блажевски го истакна значењето на поддршката што ја дава македонската дијаспората и поддржувачите од САД и Канада за јакнење на капацитетите на земјата и нејзиниот човечки потенцијал. Покрај другото, таа се осврна на предизвиците со кои се соочува македонското општество и на бавниот економски и демократски развој и потенцираше: „Потенцијалот за просперитетна иднина е реален, но бара итно и фокусирано внимание, бара обединување. Ве повикуваме сите тука присутни заеднички да го создадеме и реализираме македонскиот сон односно развиена, демократска и просперитетна Македонија, добра за нас, за Балканот и за светот“, истакна Мојсоска-Блажевски. Таа нагласи дека средствата собрани од овој настан ќе бидат исклучиво наменети за поддршка на програмите на Македонија 2025, придонесувајќи за развојот на Македонија преку тековните, но и нови стратешки цели кои се поделени во неколку области: забрзување на обуката за лидерство, проширување на можностите за млади таленти, зајакнување на растот на бизнисот, вклучување на искусни експерти, забрзување на дигитализацијата во Македонија и поголемо поврзување со дијаспората и со дигиталните номади.
Претседателот Стево Пендаровски, кој е и долгогодишен партнер и поддржувач на активностите на Македонија 2025, беше главен гостин на Гала вечерата. Тој во рамките на своето обраќање го подвлече значењето на соработката и јакнењето на врските со дијаспората.
Под покровителство на претседателот Пендаровски, а во соработка со Македонија 2025 се реализира Охрид – кампот за високо-технолошка извонредност, како и образовни активности и други настани преку Претседателскиот центар за политичко образование и други настани.
На Гала вечерата во Чикаго претседателот Пендаровски додели три награди: две Признанија за придонес на припадниците од дијаспората кои им беа врачени на двајца истакнати македонци од дијаспората – Стенли (Наце) Томас од Канада и Влатко Андоновски од САД, а највисокото државно признание, орденот „8ми септември“ му беше доделено на Дејвид Калхун, главен извршен директор на Боинг, за неговиот придонес за развивање на македонско-американските односи.
Дејвид Калхун се заблагодари за наградата и најави дека и понатаму ќе се заложува за интересите на Македонија, преку соработка со Македонија 2025. Тој во интервју, кое на Гала Вечерата го водеше Мајк Зафировски, говореше за важноста на добрите лидери, за приоритетите при водење на компании, но и држави и важноста на невладините организации за поддршка на општествено-економскиот развој.
Присутните ги поздрави и Невенка Димитрова, член на Одборот на директори на Македонија 2025, се заблагодари за присуството и поддршката и ја истакна важноста на организацијата во создавање просперитетна иднина во Македонија.
Гала вечерта во Чикаго беше во духот на македонската култура, традиција и кујна. Пред гостите настапија реномирани македонски уметници кои имаат изградена меѓународна кариера. Познатиот македонски пијанист Дуке Бојаџиев, безвременскиот глас на Крсте Роџевски и волшебната кларинетска уметност на Исмаил Лумановски создадоа музичко ремек-дело и неверојатна атмосфера во која уживаа сите гости, со силни емоции. Гостите, исто така, уживаа во мелодиите на македонската музика, со традиционални ора ширејќи го нашето културно наследство. Underpinning a commitment to advancing science education, Macedonia2025 is pleased to announce the recipients of a grant from the Johnson Matthey Community Impact Program “Science and Me”
As the implementing organization, Macedonia2025 will lead Johnson Matthey Skopje’s global STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) program, enhancing access to high-quality education for young people in North Macedonia and championing the importance of science disciplines for humanity and the environment. Implemented nationwide, Science & Me aims to develop the quality of science education, and enhance student engagement and performance, contributing to a scientifically literate workforce and positive economic and social benefits for North Macedonia. Through an inclusive selection process and training program, Science & Me will equip c.25 primary school science teachers from up to 15 primary schools across North Macedonia with resources, essential skills, and innovative teaching methodologies, to deliver hands-on learning experiences, such as projects, fairs and events, to inspire students and build their interest and ambition in STEM subjects. In the near term, the program expects to reach c.1500 students, building their appreciation and capabilities in topics such as leadership, growth, and competitiveness, partnering and networking. Moreover, Science & Me acknowledges the current gender disparity in STEM, aiming to bridge the gap by inspiring more young girls to pursue STEM careers. The project aims to propel science education from a classroom subject through to a positive catalyst for change, progress, and empowerment.
We are proud to share that Macedonia 2025 has entered into a long-term Memorandum of Cooperation with Johnson Matthey in Macedonia, solidifying our commitment to working together as strategic allies.
